I mentioned a couple of weeks ago that my mom and I attended a party at Hickory Chair. The party was catered by Blackberry Farm - they had absolutely delicious cheeses, dried sausages and assorted chutneys- in one word- heaven! I looked them up online and realized that there was more to this "farm" than just good food, it is also a beautiful luxury hotel nestled right in the foothills of the Smokey Mountains of eastern Tennessee. The place looks so serene and peaceful but its not just all about relaxing. You can take cooking classes, gardening classes, go horseback riding, go on hikes, do yoga, go fly fishing, go shooting- basically my perfect weekend (minus the shooting - I will leave that for Seamus) all the while taking in the beautiful scenery. Where can I sign up??!!

Hi, Natalie! Thanks for your lovely email. What a coincidence that I'm going here! :) Another person commented on how amazing their catering was at High Point. Now I'm more excited than ever! I'll definitely report back with photos after my trip.
